Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 and then as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2008.
Following training in audit, Chris gained several years of experience within the tax department of PwC in Manchester. In 2014 he joined Harts and relishes the challenge of advising business owners and directors on a broad range of tax matters including tax efficient profit extraction, property taxes, R&D, EIS and SEIS, corporate restructurings, compliance, and resolving HMRC enquiries and disputes.
Chris will take the time to understand a client’s particular circumstances to provide tailored and easy to understand advice. Chris also advises on buying and selling businesses and takes instructions as a forensic accountant, primarily for business valuations in connection with commercial disputes divorce proceedings, or in relation to loss of profits claims.
If he’s not in the office, Chris will probably either be found fell or road running or being kept busy by his three young children.
